The room rate is $159+tax per night, using group code 2311HOTELP Reservations must be made by October 6! on the Haworth Hotel website to get the group rate.

You should plan to arrive no later than Monday evening, Nov. 6. We will have shuttles from the Grand Rapids airport to Holland on Monday afternoon and evening, or you can rent a car if you want more flexibility or plan to fly into Lansing or Detroit.

The meeting begins on Tuesday Nov 7 - we will take a bus to the MSU Clarksville Research Center where we will conduct the day’s business meetings, have lunch, and tour the NC140 trial plots, with dinner there or along the way back to Holland.

The meeting continues on Wednesday Nov 8 - we will take a bus to the MSU Southwest Research & Extension Center where we will conduct the day’s business meetings and join the SCRI Armillaria Project group (they will be meeting there concurrently) for lunch and a tour of the NC140 trial plots there, with dinner there or along the way back to Holland with the Armillaria group.

The meeting will finish up on Thursday Nov 9 - we will meet at the Haworth Conference center and finish with lunch at noon (again, with the Armillaria group). You can plan to depart Thursday afternoon - again, we will have shuttles arranged for the Grand Rapids airport.

So, this is a full 2.5 day meeting, closer to what used to be our standard of a 3-day meeting, so that we can adequate time to discuss all research, planning of new trials, etc. This is especially important as we have had or will have a lot of participant “turnover” with retirements of long-standing project scientists in recent years (plus COVID limitations to meeting in person and the critical information exchange that occurs in-person)! It is critical, if you are a current or future trial coordinator (as well as cooperator), that you plan to attend this year’s meeting! We will visit apple, peach, pear, and sweet and tart cherry trials during the meeting, so this will be a rootstock and orchard information-and discussion-dense meeting!
